1.HFMD is a disease that can spread to others around a person if he/she has it.

2. i can tell it through by seeing if they have spots on their hands, fever, sore throat, ulcers in the throat, mouth and tongue
headache .

3. no it is not true that HFMD only occurs among children under five.because you can see that our family members or friends get it but they are not under five.

4. i can prevent it by washing my hands before i eat, washing my hnads after playing with toys and bathe after doing or touching something which many people touched before.

5. currently i do not know anyone who has contracted HFMD.

6.he/she could help to prevent the spread by staying at home and not go to school.

7. i would advice them to stay at home and have a good rest, after they have become healthy, they can go to school again.

HMFD is a disease where there are ulcers in your tongue, rashes on your hands and they are not very nice. This disease is very contagious and can spread easily among children, not to menti0on some adults also have that disease!

Well, you can judge by the symtoms such as fever for 2 days or more, rashes, ulcers..... They do not sound very nice, do they?

Not true. If you are not careful you might get it. The reason is that HMFD can spread very easily, especially if children do not keep themselves clean.

This is easy. And that i personal hygenie. Always wash your hands before and/or after meals, bath regualarly etc.

No., but i had seen in the newspaper about children having HMFD, which makes me scared! YUCKS!

They kept themselves clean and healthy and refrain from attending classes.

Well, my advice is that now everyone should keep themselves clean and do not go outdoors. Also if your hands are dirty do not put them in your mouth! YUCKS!

ewww... the photos of people with hfmd are disgusting. unfortunately, thats what you get if you dont take care of yourselves or some selfish people want to are soooo inconsiderate too go to public places when they know they have the disease. recently, there were many cases on young children getting the contagious disease. some concerned parents did not even allow their children to go to their childcare centres, kindergartens etc. although adults can too catch the disease, it mainly affects young children. now,we must be more careful about our personal hygiene.

HFMD is a bacterial which can spred easliy. You can tell HMND by rashces or ourcer on the mouth. I think it is a no for thinking that children below 5 will get it. Primary schools are taking action on all level and this tells me that we 12 might get HFMD.

Hand-foot-and-mouth disease (HFMD) is caused by the Coxsackie virus and Enterovirus 71.This is usually a mild illness with the rash healing in 5 to 7 days. Blisters on the palm and fingers. Both adults and children can be affected, but young children below five years are particularly susceptible.
the symptoms are :
fever
sore throat
ulcers in the throat, mouth and tongue
headache
a rash with vesicles (small blisters, 3-7 mm) on hands, feet and diaper area. The vesicles are typically on the palm side of the hands the sole side of the feet and very characteristic in appearance
loss of appetite .if you have any of the symptoms,do not go to crowded places,in this way,HFMD would not spread. stay healthy !hahahahahaaaaaaa
